The “INNOVATION WAY” is the largest semi-submerged conversion vessel in Asia, converted from a 172K DWT bulk carrier (LOA 289.08m, MB 45m, MD24.1m), from which around 40m (length) entirety of mid-ship part and 13.5m (hight) above cargo hold structure have been cut off and rebuilt into a semi-submerged vessel of 65K DWT(LOA 247.8m, MB 48.8m, MD13.5m)
The largest submerging depth of this vessel is 22.5m, classed to Chinese Class Society(CCS), reconstructed by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited for owner CCCC INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CORP., and surveyed by CCS Guangzhou Branch. The gordian technique applied on the vessel is of a mature & advanced type, and with a superior combination property.
Sea Control System Corporation Limited has supplied the semi-submerged type loading computer system (CLOAD) in July 2017. The owner speaks highly of the hard/software facilities and superior quality technical-supports provided by Sea Control.
