9:23 a.m. in the morning of September 15, the Long March 11 Sea launch 2 carrier rocket was launched in the Yellow Sea. This is the first time that China has achieved commercial satellite launches at sea, and it also marks a new era in our country’s rocket launch.
The ship offered the launch platform which undertakes this launch mission that called the “DeBo-3”, equipped with a computer and produced a longitudinal strength calculation booklet all provided by Seactrl. “Debo-3” Yantai Salvage Bureau adopts the third ship in the “Debo” series equipped with Seactrl’s loading computer. The ship has a total length of 159.6 meters, a maximum load of 20,500 tons, and a maximum unilateral buoyancy of 12,000 tons; Electric propulsion, equipped with DP 1 dynamic positioning and 4-point anchor positioning system, with fast load adjustment function. This type of ship was the salvage engineering ship with the largest unilateral buoyancy in China. The ship is mainly used for emergency rescue and salvage of large distressed and damaged ships, loading and transportation of damaged ships, and also takes care of the transportation tasks of large offshore equipment and steel structural parts, offshore oil mining platforms, workshops, and ship sections. Possesses the roll-on and roll-off capabilities for large vehicles and drop-and-trail vehicles and the ability to load dangerous goods.
The loading computer CLOAD of Seactrl provides accurate stability and strength calculations for the “Debo-3” to carry out the rocket transportation and launch mission, which effectively guarantees the successful completion of the transport and launch mission, and further provides a good contribute to the development of aerospace industry.
