LR (UK) Lead specialist Seb Brindley and LR (Shanghai) Lead specialist Hongyan Lu visited SEACTRL on the afternoon of March 13, to hold a workshop on Container Securing and Onboard Lashing Program Development based on the latest LR rules.
During the workshop, SEACTRL introduced to LR specialist the current development status of their onboard lashing software based on the latest LR rules and specifications. Then Mr. Seb Brindley gave a presentation of the latest research progress of Container Securing and provided an elaborate explanation of the container lashing calculation model and formulas as well as the integration of onboard lashing software.
After the workshop, LR specialist made positive comments on SEACTRL’s effort on development work on onboard lashing software, and also provided us valuable advice. LR and SEACTRL expressed good wishes for further cooperation in the future.
